####Powering up the board

  1. Power up arduino using USB power. Connect +5V to +ve of bread board, GND to -ve of breadboard.
  2. Power up both sides of the breakboard using non-ada/self-skinned connecting wires. Size of wires not accurate unlike T.Igoe.

####Building a series circuit

  1. Staying in convention, red wires for +ve, connecting to longer end of diode
  2. Connected to -ve end (LED turned on and then burnt out. Resistor missing.
  3. Added resistor in series, used blue wire as a circuit breaker to -ve completing the circuit.
  4. It works! (below)

####Sunglasses as a Switch (SaaS)

That didn’t work

  1. Cheap sunglasses are poor conductors
  2. The plan was to have the legs act as a switch when you close so they connect
  3. The lenses part of the frame would be insulating, the legs complete the circut when closed

####Platinum works


  1. Platinum strip was an amazing conductor
  2. To be used as switch points
  3. Cut up the strip in smaller strips to act as switch points

####Using our body as a switch

But I started conducting, similar to T.Igoe measuring body voltage by holding the multimeter probes in either hand. I made the LED flicker, just a bit, by holding the platinum switch connector in each hand.

Bad idea, dangerous? But at extremely low voltages the idea of embedded switches in our bodies sounds fantastic.
